Below you will find a description of possible challenging situations that you might recognize:

Do you need an independent conversation partner? Sometimes, in certain situations, it can be valuable to spar with someone you don’t have a personal relationship with. Primarily to sort your thoughts, identify what happens to you when you find yourself in these situations, become aware of your own thoughts and feelings, and eventually perhaps choose to do something different.

Are you curious about your reaction patterns? Why do I react the way I do every time I encounter the same type of situation, and why does it trigger something in me? With me, you can explore further who you are and what you actually do — and whether you might choose to act differently when facing similar situations.

Are you grieving? – Have you experienced grief after losing someone close? Has life not turned out the way you hoped, leaving you feeling low and sad? I can support you in finding a sustainable way forward where you are in the driver’s seat.

Transitions – This may relate to different dilemmas in life and relationships. Together we can explore your situation and possible steps moving forward

Inner restlessness – Have you tried many times to get to the bottom of what it’s really about, without becoming any wiser? I support you in exploring what this restlessness is truly connected to.

Relationship challenges – Are your relationships healthy? Are you stuck in something you can’t get out of, and need to air thoughts you don’t have the opportunity to share with others?

Loneliness – in existential philosophy the notion that we are all alone , we are born alone and we die alone, can bring comfort to some and anxiousness to others. To feel safe, met and seen we need to some extent relations to others, but maybe you still feel lonely, even though other parameters are met? I feel sometimes lonely even when I am surrounded by others and even engaging with others

Are you the one breaking the generational cycle? Are you doing something differently from your parents and grandparents, and feeling uncertain about the road ahead — what if I don’t do what others expect? Instead you choose what aligns more closely with my own beliefs and values

Coaching – Is there something you’re dreading? Maybe you need to sort your thoughts and feelings about something you expect will be challenging for you? We can explore this together — what will your choices be moving forward?

What is gestalt?

Gestalt Therapy was created seventy years ago as a psychotherapeutic method that takes into perspective the holistic view of a person and their situation.

The therapist aims to create an environment where the client’s difficulties can be safely explored through dialogue, exploration of bodily sensations, analysis of the therapeutic relationship and creativity.

The client is not seen as deficient or lacking ability, but as someone who adapted in the best possible way to the situation. Often it is that situation that needs to be changed to reduce the emotional suffering.

Malcolm Parlett encapsulated Gestalt therapy in five keywords:
responding to the situation – looking at our response-ability to the situation and how we can find support
• interrelating – how we relate to others and ourselves,
• embodying – what we experience through the body,
self-recognising – how can we be more aware of ourselves and the situation?
experimenting – how we can liberate ourselves from patterns that inhibit us and have more freedom and spontaneity.
